Design challenge:

create interactive system enabling a more relational understanding of climate change for visitors

Loops for Stagnation provides a learning experience through embodied interaction allowing the audience to experience their relationship to the climate.

Your movement represents climate forcings - factors that force a change in the climate (volcunic erruptions, anthropogenic change in greenhouse gases, chages in the Sun’s radiance).  The way you move makes the Loop respond in specific ways triggering certain processes including feedback loops, tippings points, new establishment of the equalibrium state.

Loops for Stagnation has been displayed at the following events:

Student Sustainability Research Conference 2023

Final Year Project Exhibition at Leeds University Union 2023

Museum Night at Warsaw 2024

Sustainable Futures Lab seminar at KTH 2024
